At the conclusion of the graduate Comedy program, students will be able to identify and perform the many different styles and types of comedy, create unique “characters” for the many different styles of comedy, write comedy, (stand-up and sketch comedy) and perform roles in all facets of comedic acting.

The Graduate Comedy program consists of a total of sixteen modules running over 36 weeks.
Through a series of exercises and assignments students are introduced to elements of clown, mask, and bouffon.
Students identify “habit body” and “vocal quirks”. Exercises, like the Cat, are used to strengthen physical and vocal “tools”.
Students work with Voice and Movement instructors to develop, write and rehearse a short play using personal stories and experiences.
